The Vashon Threshold Choir brings comfort through song to the bedsides of those at thresholds of living and dying.

Formed in 2005, we regularly sing at Vashon Community Care, adult family homes, and in private homes on Vashon. We offer “lullabies for the other end of life”. At your invitation, we send 2 to 4 singers to offer soft, restful songs in short sessions designed to comfort and support. Our service is free, and we consider it an honor to offer this gift to the island. If you would like to request Threshold Choir members to sing at a bedside, please contact us.

Our choir welcomes singers who feel drawn to this sacred end-of-life work. We rehearse on the second and fourth Mondays of the month at 3:30. For more information on how to join us or visit a rehearsal, please feel free to contact us.
