Providing gentle singing during life's transitions...

Who We Are

Grant County Threshold Singers share the sacred gift of voice with those who are struggling: some with living, some with dying. Our bedside singing provides comfort and ease to individuals, families, and caregivers.

What We Do

When invited, a small group provides bedside singing to those who are terminally ill. Our gentle songs engender a peaceful setting and soothe the soul. Providing our own seating allows us to sit at "heart level", creating an environment where we are fully present. Family members and caregivers are encouraged to participate by listening or joining us in song. This singing is a gift; there is no charge.

If Interested in Joining Us

Grant County Threshold Singers rehearse the first and third Tuesdays of each month from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Marion, Indiana. We welcome male and female singers who feel drawn to this service. If this work piques your interest, please come to a rehearsal and join us in voice as we harmonize a cappella to lullaby-like songs. It is not necessary to have experience singing a cappella, as we will work with you to help you learn this singing style.
