Heart of Georgia Threshold Singers

Who We Are

The Heart of Georgia Threshold Singers is a volunteer group of mainly women's a cappella voices which sings to individuals on the threshold of life in the Middle Georgia area. When invited to the bedside, we bring messages of love and comfort to hospice patients, their families, and caregivers whether in a medical facility or at home. Because we are not religiously oriented, our singing is appropriate for those who are deeply spiritual, whether religious or not. Additionally, we can sing for newborns or those undergoing life-threatening procedures. Anyone may request a session. We spend about 10-15 minutes with each client.

Our Rehearsal Schedule

We welcome singers who want to join us in our sevice of "kindness made audible". We rehearse from 4:00 to 5:30 on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at a variety of locations in Macon, Georgia, depending on the availability and need of our members. Please contact us by email or call us at (478) 744-0915 for additional information about our organization and rehearsals.
