Who We Are

The Threshold Singers of Chicago, Northside was formed in April of 2012. We have been singing at bedsides since the beginning of 2013. We are a small but growing group, and we welcome new members. As members of a Threshold Choir, we offer the gift of comforting and soothing songs at a most challenging stage of life, and we consider it to be an honor and a privilege to offer this gift of song. We ask that those who join us be interested in carrying on this ancient tradition of singing at bedsides for people who are ill or dying.

Where We Sing

Currently we are singing for patients at the Season's Hospice inpatient unit at Weiss Memorial Hospital. Being able to offer our services at other facilities and homes on the northside of Chicago is one of our goals.

Our rehearsals are the first and third Monday of every month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Pilgrim Lutheran Church and School, 4300 North Winchester, Chicago.
