2015 Pacific Northwest Regional Gathering #8

Friday, Sept 18—Sunday, Sept 20, 2015
Still Meadow Retreat Center

Once again, the Pacific Northwest Regional Gathering will be held in the Portland (OR) area, organized by the Portland Threshold Choir.

This year’s gathering begins on Friday, Sept 18, 2015. Arrival and check-in is between 3:00 and 5:00 pm. Friday dinner will be at 6 pm.  Closing circle will end at noon, Sunday, with lunch to follow. On Saturday and Sunday, there will be workshops with various presenters.

Still Meadow is a retreat center 1/2 hour from both downtown Portland and the Portland (PDX) airport. It is situated on 60 acres of forest and meadow in a beautiful, old-growth forest setting, with a year-round running creek, hiking trails, and sauna.  The sanctuary room is designed according to the proportions of sacred geometry.

Still Meadow has a strict "no shoes" policy in the residential houses
and the meeting rooms. Be sure to bring slippers, socks, or some
sort of indoor shoes. You can wear street shoes in the main lobby
and the dining hall. Also, please bring a flashlight.

Housing on-site includes single rooms, double rooms (with two beds, rooms accommodate 2 people, or 3 if you are willing to share a double, queen or king bed), dorm rooms that accommodate 3 or 4 people in single beds, and 10 camping spaces. All bathrooms are shared.  Priority for on-site housing will be based on registration date for all registrations received and paid in full by July 31st; after July 31st, priority is based on the date payment is received.

[ On-site housing full; check with KateS for remaining options, if any.

Commuters welcome! ]

Off-site accommodations include the Comfort Suites 6 miles from Still Meadow and nearby Barton Park campground.

If you have limited mobility, your early registration will support our ability to meet your needs.

Still Meadow provides delicious meals made with seasonal foods and the freshest ingredients possible. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated—gluten-free options will cost $10 more for the weekend. We will share Friday dinner, 3 meals on Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. On the registration form, please indicate any food restrictions you may have.

  • Single room on-site, $280.
  • Double room on-site, $245. (2 beds)
  • Dorm room on-site, $190. (3 or 4 beds)
  • Camping/RV on-site, $165.
  • Off-site commuter, $135. (Meals, no lodging.)

We will take an offering for the Threshold Choir organization. If you are able to donate anything extra, it will be greatly appreciated.

Limited partial scholarships may be available. If you are interested, please make your request by July 13, and we will respond by July 20. Register early to establish your room priority.

If you are able to, please consider donating to the Scholarship Fund so that others may attend at a cost they can afford.
