Peninsula Threshold Choir brings comfort and kindness through song to the bedsides of those at thresholds of living and dying. Ours was one of the first chapters started by the founder of the Threshold Choir, Kate Munger. We have been part of the San Francisco Peninsula community since 2001.

WHERE WE SING: We sing regularly for clients of the Menlo Park Division of the Veterans Administration, Mission Hospice and Home CarePathways Home Help and Hospice, and other hospice organizations. We serve clients primarily in southern San Mateo County and northern Santa Clara County, most often from Palo Alto north through Burlingame. We have  visited several hospitals, including Stanford Hospital, Palo Alto VA Medical Center, Sequoia Hospital, Kaiser Redwood City, El Camino Hospital, and Mills Peninsula Medical Center. We have been honored to sing at services of remembrance for our hospice partners, our local veterans, and beloved clients.

SINGING WITH US: We invite singers of all genders to visit one of our practices. We request that you be able to carry a tune, listen to and blend with others, and communicate kindness with your voice. You do not need to audition or be able to read music. We help to prepare you for bedside readiness at your own pace. We meet on the second and fourth Wednesday nights of the month near Palo Alto, California.

CONTACT US: If you would like to request singers or visit a practice, please contact us at [email protected] or call us at (650) 646-5782.
