Long Bay Threshold Singers

Long Bay Threshold Singers

Serving the Grand Strand region of South Carolina, our members bring gentle music to persons at the thresholds of living and dying, and to others in need of comfort. Our calm presence, lullaby voices, and repertoire of simple, spiritual songs can be soothing and reassuring to clients, family, and caregivers alike.

Our singers visit in groups of two to four, singing a cappella for about twenty minutes. We come when invited, by individuals or family members, or by hospice or healthcare representatives (with the permission of patient or family). Our song is our gift; there is no charge.

Sing With Us

To accommodate our far-flung geography and varied schedules, our singers practice at least twice a month on their choice of days/times and at different locations on the Grand Strand. Right now we’re meeting 1st and 3rd Tuesday afternoons (4:30-6:30) in the North Myrtle Beach-Little River area, and 2nd and 4th Thursday afternoons (1:15-3:15) in Socastee. Contact us for current venues. Our membership and our service area extend from Murrells Inlet north to just over the South Carolina state line into Brunswick County, North Carolina.

If you can carry a tune, hold your part, blend with others, and communicate kindness with your voice, you’ll fit right in. There is no audition.
