A Tradition as Old as Time…
We are voices singing songs of comfort, much like a mother singing a lullaby to her baby. Our songs are simple, soothing, and uplifting. When invited, we sing at bedsides in groups of 2 to 4 to offer a moment of grace during a difficult time. We sing at the thresholds of life, for hospice patients, for those who are healing, and for people facing challenges. We sing for those surrounded by loving family and for those alone at the end of their lives. We honor all spiritual paths but have no religious affiliation.
Our voices are our gift; there is no charge.
If you would like to invite us to sing, please call (661) 632-5874.
If You Would Like to Sing with Us…
We ask that you are able to blend with other singers and desire to learn the songs we sing. We are not a performance choir and do not require auditions. New singers are always welcome. Practices are held the first and third Friday mornings at The Art and Spirituality Center from 9:30 to 11:30. The Center is located at Mercy Hospital-Downtown, in the rust-colored building near the corner of A Street and Truxtun Avenue in Bakersfield, California. Call (661) 632-5874 for more information.
Singing for Peace
In the summer of 2016, we sang for peace with the Bakersfield community. Watch the news story about it HERE.
