Clallam County Threshold Choir
The Clallam County Threshold Choir is made up of warm, generous, vibrant women volunteers from all around the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. We honor the ancient tradition of a cappella singing softly at the bedside of people who are experiencing life’s transitions — those who are seriously ill, facing death, in grief, or suffering.
Formed in 2016, we offer compassion and comfort in groups of two to four singers. A family member or loved one may request our service of song, a gift from us to them. We offer soft, restful songs of kindness, without religious affiliation. The women of the Clallam County Threshold Choir find strength and comfort in doing this work and in knowing that they are a community unto themselves, serving each other as well as anyone interested in this service. Membership is open.
We meet on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday evenings of each month, halfway between Sequim & Port Angeles. We welcome other women to join us! If you can carry a tune, learn simple music, and blend with others as well as communicate kindness, we invite you to join us.
Come to one of our rehearsals and meet us.
Please contact us by email or call us at (509) 539-2646 if you’d like more infomation about CCTC, to request our service, or to inquire about joining CCTC.
