Who We Are

We are a group of compassionate singers from London, Ontario. We have approximately 16 singers; when we sing at bedside, we come in a group of 3 to 6. Our larger group sings for memorial services, celebrations of life, and community gatherings.

What We Do

We offer small group singing to people in palliative care or who are terminally ill. Our songs are selected to bring comfort to all, regardless of their spiritual discipline or path. We sing at St. Joseph’s Hospice and are developing relationships with hospitals, nursing homes, and long-term care facilities. We sing a cappella in harmony in hushed lullaby voices. We sing with compassionate hearts and voices. Our singing lasts from 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the needs of the people we visit. We sing as a gift; there is no charge for this service. Offering this gift of song is as rewarding for the singers as it is for the actively dying and their loved ones.

Rehearsals

We hold formal and informal practices. We meet at St. Joseph’s Hospice every other Thursday evening from 7 to 8:45. We also meet informally in private homes.
