Our Service

We are a group of women who sing at the bedsides of those who are ill or dying. By invitation, two or three of us sing to bring comfort and peace. Family members and caregivers are invited to participate by listening or singing with us. Our songs include lullabies and simple songs, many of which were composed for bedside singing. As a group, we are not associated with any church or religious group, and we have experienced that our songs can uplift people regardless of their spiritual orientation.

Where We Sing

We sing in private homes and at hospice, eldercare, nursing, and assisted living facilities by request. We have visited Summerhill and Home Place in Oak Harbor, Whidbey Health and Regency in Coupeville, Maple Ridge Assisted Living, and Your Home on the Harbor in Freeland.

Request Singing

There is no charge for our service.

If you or someone you know would like to receive our gift of song, please contact us by email or call Pam at (360) 969-4474 or Dianne at (360) 632-1015.

Inviting New Singers

We welcome you to contact us if you are inspired to offer your presence and voice in this sacred service. We invite singers who can commit to regular rehearsals, can carry a tune, and can blend their gentle lullaby voices with those in our small group. We are collaboratively led and depend on our singers’ willingness to participate in organization and planning.

Rehearsals

Rehearsals are held weekly on Tuesdays from 3:00 to 4:30 in South Whidbey Island. Call (360) 969-4474 or (360) 632-1015 for rehearsal location.
