Who We Are

The Hudson Highlands Threshold Choir is made up of volunteer singers who honor the ancient tradition of singing softly at bedsides for people who are ill or dying. As members of this international organization, we offer the gift of comfort and song at the most challenging stage of life.We consider this to be an honor and privilege.  We sing in Lower Dutchess and Putnam Counties in New York.

Where We Sing

We bring this service to hospitals, hospices, nursing facilities and private homes. We regularly sing for clients of Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing in both Beacon and Hopewell and the Sapphire Nursing home in Fishkill. We are also available to sing at memorial services and community gathering throughout the year.

Singing With Us

We invite ALL singers to visit one of our practices.  We request that you be able to carry a tune, listen to and blend with others, and communicate kindness with your voice. You do not need to audition or be able to read music. We help to prepare for bedside readiness at your own pace. We currently practice twice a month on Monday nights.
