I was born and grew up in NH. I sang all through school and in church with my two younger sisters.

I did not sing at all from the age of sixteen until I joined Songweavers at the Concord Community Music School (a women’s non-auditioned chorus) at fifty-three. We lived in Concord NH at the time.

Songweavers had an ad hoc group called Songhealers that would sing at the local hospital once a month and at the hospice house once a month. This would be a group of anywhere between 6 – 14 women that would sing in the hallways. The hospice chaplain asked us in 2019 if we had ever thought of singing in smaller groups at beside. Several women were interested but no one wanted to step up. This is how I started our hospice singing group.

We had just started singing in small groups at bedside when – COVID.

Once we started being able to sing to patients again, we looked into becoming a chapter of Threshold Choir. This was finally accomplished in early 2023.

I look forward to contributing in any way to the Threshold Choir Board. My areas of expertise are website development and video production. I ran my husband’s office when he owned a IT business, so was proficient with Word, Excel, and QuickBooks. I am willing to help out wherever needed.

I currently live with my husband of 45 years, our youngest daughter, and her husband, their three kids and another grandkid that moved in with us this past April with her dog. We have two dogs (and have rescued many over the past 25 years), the kids have five cats, four chickens, and a gecko. When I’m not grandparenting or singing, in my spare time I crochet and am an avid reader. We also own a lovely cottage in Down East Maine.
