Missoula Threshold Choir

Missoula Threshold Choir is a group of women with compassionate hearts and voices who bring the comfort of song to those at end of life or facing serious illness. In groups of three or four, we sing a cappella at hospices, health care facilities, and private homes in the Missoula, Montana area. Our non-religious music is designed to soothe and bring peace in trying times, and offers comfort through universal messages of love, peace and compassion.
At a typical “sing”, we enter quietly, sing for 15-20 minutes, and take our leave. We encourage caregivers and/or family members to be present with the patient.
As with all Threshold Choir singing, our visits are free of charge. If you would like to schedule a visit, please call or text (406) 285-8619, or email [email protected]. If you’d like to learn more about our worldwide organization, visit https://thresholdchoir.org.
Periodically, we invite new singers to join our group. We ask candidates to be able to: carry a tune; hold your own part while others sing harmony; sing softly and blend your voice with others; and communicate kindness with your voice. We typically rehearse twice a month on Wednesday evenings. If you are interested, please email [email protected].
